Call reviews often become a search for mistakes and better lines. Because the leader already knows the outcome, the conversation is heard in hindsight. HEAR starts by suspending that verdict.

Three layers

  1. What the customer said. Their actual words and observable reactions.
  2. What the seller decided for them. Interpretations that were never checked.
  3. What remained open. Context, pain, fear, budget, timing, stakeholder, or project requirement.

Find the moment of presentation

Did the presentation grow from a pain that had been heard, or from a familiar product story? One relevant feature connected with one pain is different from a list of capabilities that the customer must translate alone.

Review the next step

A next action should grow from readiness, not from an activity target. Was the customer ready? Was the purpose clear? Were the date and owner agreed?

One observable development point is enough.

A complete list of faults creates failure. One moment that can change the next conversation creates practice.
